Elevator Keys
Please ensure that all elevator keys are returned by the end of the day.
Lost and Found
If you have lost items, in the school, please check out the lost and found rack across from the office.
Backpacks
Backpacks are to be left in your lockers. Any backpacks found on the floor of the school will be taken to the office and can be picked up after school.
Chess Club is Starting!
All are welcome! Learn how to play chess or compete against the best!....Mr Nagle lol but really it's Jayden grade 8.
Chess club is every Tuesday at lunch in Mr Nagle’s room… room 111. Be there or be a pawn!
Best Buddies
Best buddies will meet Thursday at lunch in the learning centre.
Boys Basketball
The next boys basketball tryouts will be Thursday November 28th from 4-6pm.
Girls Volleyball
Your Astral girls volleyball team came up short last night in their semi final match against Graham Creighton. You had a great season girls and we are all proud of you!
School Dance
Due to a lack of ticket sales, the school dance on November 28th has been cancelled. Refunds will be sent out via School Cash.
A Note from Mr. Lukenda
Mr. Lukenda’s Computer Lab will be closed, at lunch, for the rest of the week due to the amount of garbage left. We will try again next week.
Uber Eats
Just a reminder that if you are ordering food for lunch from sites like Uber Eats, please make sure they arrive so you can enjoy them during lunch, not fourth period.
Community Awareness
Recent complaints have come in regarding our students trespassing on community members’ property, leaving garbage in yards and tormenting community pets. Please be advised that community members have video and have requested the actions to stop.
Election Day
Today is election day in Nova Scotia and we are hosting 16 polls in the gym. The parking lot will be busy and students are asked to stay away from it at lunch time. The gym is closed and the washrooms by the gym are only to be used by Tech Ed and Art classes.
