LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
We would like to acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaw people.

ADJH Food Drive
Every year, the students at Astral Drive show their kindness and generosity by supporting those in need in our community. This year’s food drive has begun and will run until November 21st. Students are encouraged to bring in non-perishable food items and hygiene products. Please ensure that food items are not expired. This Monday is “Snack” day. If you are able, please bring in a box of snacks, such as crackers, cookies or granola bars and drop them in the box in your homeroom classroom. Remember, each homeroom will be competing to collect the most donations. Let’s work together to make a difference!
Leadership Program for African Nova Scotian Students
There will a meeting for few minutes at lunch for African Nova Scotian/African Ancestry Students interested in participating in a Leadership Program with Mr. Karl working with Tunnel Vision Association. The meeting will take place in room 172 (Mr. Kosick’s). During the meeting details about the program will be shared.

There will be no leadership meeting today.
Cheerleading
First practice will be Monday, November 18th from 4-6pm.
Girls Basketball
Tryouts for the girls basketball team will be held today after school from 3:00 to 4:30.
