Food & Hygiene Drive
Attention Mustangs! Let’s Make a Difference! Our food drive is underway and will run until next Thursday, October 23rd. We’re collecting non-perishable food items and hygiene products to donate to a local food bank. The class that donates the most items will win a special prize!
Garbage Outside
Please pick up your garbage and/or use the garbage cans outside to put your left over lunch food/containers. The grounds of the school and field are becoming cluttered with garbage.
Boys Volleyball
Reminder that there is a practice tomorrow after school from 2:30-4:30.
Boys & Girls Volleyball
Your volleyball team fees are now due and can be paid via School Cash. Please ensure that your athletic policy is turned into your coach. Failure to do so, will result in not being able to play.
Boys Soccer
Your Astral Drive Boys soccer team finished the regular season yesterday with a convincing 9-0 win over Caledonia. The game featured 5 different goal scorers and another shutout for the defense. The boys await to find out their opponent in the league semifinals next Thursday.
Volleyball Tournament
October 21st and October 22nd there will be a volleyball tournament at lunch to raise money for the Food Bank. If you are interested in playing the cost is $1.00 and .50 to watch. Sign up sheets will be by the gym and up until this Friday.
Best Buddies
Reminder to all best buddies members to have your signed form returned to Mr Chase as soon as possible.
Library Club
It’s that time of year again to get ready for Halloween by entering the Pumpkin Colouring Contest. Pick up your pumpkin in the Library, create a design (don’t think Jack-O-Lantern), and win a bag of candy on Halloween! Contest closes October 31!
Drama Club
The drama club will meet tomorrow after school in the library from 2:30 to 3:30. If you missed last week’s meeting - no worries! All are welcome to come and join in on the fun!
Leadership
There will be a leadership meeting this Friday, October 17th, at 11:35 in Mme Chiasson’s room. Please bring your lunch.
