ANNOUNCEMENTS: Tuesday June 3,2025: WEEK #2; CYCLE DAY F

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

 It is National Indigenous History Month. Throughout the month of June, various events and activities take place across Canada to promote awareness and understanding. By honoring the heritage and achievements of Indigenous peoples, we can promote reconciliation and build a more inclusive Canada.

Monday June 9th from 5:30-8:30 , Auburn is hosting an Indigenous vendor fair in the cafeteria to honor Indigenous history month. Everyone is welcome 

Grade 9 Boast Cruise will be June 12, 2025.  Tickets are $45.00 each and are available on School Cash. There are also a limited number of guest tickets available on School Cash.

Best Buddies - Anyone who was not here on Friday to receive a permission form for the upcoming field trip, please see Mr. Tetford or Ms. MacQuarrie today to get one.  

Girls Softball There will be a practice Thursday after school. 

Pie a Teacher Fundraiser- Are you ready to get some sweet revenge on your favorite teachers? On Friday, June 6th, during lunch, 906 is giving you the chance to pie a teacher in the face! If you want to join in, head outside the office on June 3rd and 4th, at lunch time, to buy your tickets — they’re 50 cents each or 10 for $3.50. Want to just watch the fun? It’s only 25 cents to come into the gym and enjoy the show. A list of participating teachers will be posted near the office, so check it out and get ready for some fun. 

Cole Harbour Library Join us tonight for Teen Night at Cole Harbour Public Library from 6-7:30 for Glow in the Dark Bingo! It is open to all junior high and high school students, it is totally free, there are snacks and prizes. 

IWK Fundraiser

Attention students and staff! Mark your calendars! Tomorrow, June 4th, our school will be hosting a bake sale to raise money for the IWK Health Centre — a hospital committed to delivering high-quality care to women, children, youth, and families throughout the Maritimes. There will be lots of delicious treats to choose from, and every dollar helps support this amazing cause.

But that’s not all — don’t miss our BBQ in support of the IWK this Thursday,June 5th! For $4, you’ll get a hot dog or veggie dog along with a drink, and for just $1, you can cool down with a jumbo freezie.

Please bring your appetite and your generosity — let’s make a difference together, one bite at a time!
