ANNOUNCEMENTS: Monday June 16,2025: WEEK #2; CYCLE DAY F

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

We would like to acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaw people. 

We would also like to acknowledge people of African ancestry, whose histories and legacies have contributed to Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Book Drive - Good morning ADJH! Our Book Drive starts tomorrow, Monday, June 16th, and runs until Friday, June 20th. Bring in gently used books of any kind to your homeroom teacher. The class that collects the most books will win a bonus gym class next week, so let’s donate big and have some fun!

Candy Cup - Tuesday the 17th we are continuing the Candy Cup Volleyball Tournament in the gym at lunch. Those who have already paid to play will not have to pay again but Those who wish to watch will have to pay an entry fee of 50¢. All teams that have lost two games have been eliminated and those who have only lost one or less please come back.

Happy Indigenous History Month!

Halifax Public Library - All branches are closed all day for staff training on Tuesday, June 17, so there will be no teen night that night.
