Asian Heritage Month: Did you know that Dwayne Johnson, known as "The Rock," has a mixed heritage. His father was a Black Nova Scotian, from Amherst and his mother was of Samoan descent, and considered a Pacific Islander.
Grade 8 Reading, Writing and Mathematics Provincial Assessments: Will begin this Friday. Students are encouraged to look over the study guides provided in both Math and English this week. Teacher please check your emails later today for a coverage and assessment schedule.

Astral Ball hockey league Astral’s first ball hockey league is starting this week! Teams and game schedule will be posted outside the gym today. If you are still interested in playing please see Mr. Nagle, all are welcome.
Also attention all teachers! We are looking to put a teacher team in the league. Nothing needed but a smile. Keep an eye on your emails.
Track and Field
Regional track and field athletes are reminded to get permission forms in to Mrs. Carter ASAP in order to attend the meet this Wednesday and Thursday at Beazley.
