October is Mi’Kmaq History Month
October is Mi'kmaq History Month in Nova Scotia. The goal of the month is to help Nova Scotians build awareness of Mi'kmaq history and heritage, and to increase understanding of the province's rich Mi'kmaq culture.

Cross Country:
There will be a cross country practice today after school. Please meet in the gym for 2:40. Athletes are reminded to pay their 10$ athletic fee on SchoolCash prior to the October 10th meet.
Girls Volleyball
The Grade 8 Girls will tryout on Friday October 4th from 3-4:30pm. The Grade 7’s will tryout Monday October 7th from 4-5:30pm.
Drama Club
The drama club will meet today after school in the library from 2:30 to 3:30.
Friendly Reminder
To keep our washrooms clean of vandalism and destruction. These are shared spaces. Please report any vandalism to your teacher.
Leadership
There will be a leadership meeting tomorrow, October 4th, at 11:35 in Mme Chiasson’s room (137). Please bring your lunch.
Intramurals
There will be a girls intramural flag football tournament starting next Wednesday!! The sign up sheet is outside the gymnasium on the bulletin board
