LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
We would like to acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaw people. The Treaties of Peace and Friendship cover this territory .
We recognize that African Nova Scotians are a distinct people whose histories, legacies and contributions have enriched Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Yearbook
We are still in need of 14 more baby/toddler pictures for the yearbook.  Please send them to Ms. Little at littlej@gnspes.ca as soon as possible so we can get them into the yearbook!
Yearbooks will be able to be purchased via the Lifetouch website for $30.

Month of the Military Child
Teal Up for Month of the Military Child in April! This year, we continue to spread awareness of Month of the Military Child and Teal Up across Canada. At our MFRC sites in HRM we will be celebrating Teal Up Tuesdays and we encourage your school or community organization to join us in wearing Teal on Tuesdays throughout the month of April!

Dance

Our next school dance will be Thursday, April 18 from 6:30 - 8:30pm.  Tickets are $6 and can be purchased via School Cash.

Library Club

There will be another fundraiser in the Library at lunch time this Friday.  Be sure to bring your change!  See the posters around school for more details. 

Best Buddies
Best buddies will meet Thursday at lunch in the learning centre.

Leadership
There will be a leadership meeting this Friday, April 12th, at 11:35 in Mme Chiasson’s room. Please bring your lunch.
