LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

We would like to acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaw people. The Treaties of Peace and Friendship cover this territory

We recognize that African Nova Scotians are a distinct people whose histories, legacies and contributions have enriched Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Yearbook
We are still in need of 14 more baby/toddler pictures for the yearbook.  Please send them to Ms. Little at littlej@gnspes.ca as soon as possible so we can get them into the yearbook!
Yearbooks will be available to purchase via the Lifetouch website for $30.

Dance
Our next school dance will be Thursday, April 18 from 6:30 - 8:30pm.  Tickets are $6 and can be purchased via School Cash.  Ticket sales are low, if ticket sales do not increase, we will have to cancel the dance. 

Halifax Public Library
Join us tonight for Club Queirdo at Cole Harbour Public Library from 4-5:30 for a Paint Night. It is open to all junior high and high school students as long as they are allies, it is totally free, and there are snacks. That's Club Queirdo Paint Night program happening at CH library tonight from 4-5:30pm.

Library Club

Tomorrow is the big event in the library at lunch time.  Bring your change to take part in the hilarity.  Bribe parents.  Beg friends.  Just bring 25 cents to take part!

Best Buddies
Best buddies will meet Today at lunch in the learning centre.

Leadership
There will be a leadership meeting tomorrow, April 12th, at 11:35 in Mme Chiasson’s room. Please bring your lunch.
