Did you know??

The Mi’kmaq Grand Council is the traditional government of the Mi’kmaq peoples, established before the arrival of Europeans. The council survives to this day, although its political powers have been restricted by federal legislation, such as the Indian Act. Today, the Mi’kmaq Grand Council members advocate for the promotion and preservation of Mi’kmaq people, language and culture. The white and red flag in the lobby is the Mi'kmaq Grand Council flag.

Girls Volleyball

There will be a mandatory meeting for the members of the girls volleyball teams in Mr. Lukendas lab at the beginning of lunch today

Cole Harbour Library
Candy Apple Bar - Did you know that candy apples can be made any flavour and colour? Join us to figure out your favourite! We’ll make Hallowe’en decorations for the library (or to take home) while we wait for our candy apples to harden.

Movie Club
If you signed up earlier this year for Movie Club, it is happening today at lunch in room 135.

Boys Soccer
Your next game is on Wednesday at 3:45 on the Montebello field. Be there no later than 3:15.
Reminder that your participant’s fee for soccer is due on Oct 10th.  This can be paid through school cash.

Girls Soccer
The girls soccer team will play Caledonia on Wednesday at Eric Graves Field at 5pm

SCHOOL DANCE
School Dance is Thursday, October 19th.  Tickets can be purchased via School Cash Online up to and including noon – October 17th.  Cost is $6.  Tickets will not be sold at the door.  Dance is from 6:30-8:30pm.

Intramurals
The schedule for the Volleyball Tournament of Champions is posted outside of the gymnasium. Please check the schedule as the tournament begins today.

Library
The Library Club is meeting today to go over all their fun events happening this month.  Please let Ms. Demers know if you cannot make it.
