September is Deaf Awareness Month: In Canada, more than 3.21 million people are Deaf or hard of hearing. The learning centre has created a bulletin board beside the music room for anyone looking to learn sign language. Please come check it out.
Girls Soccer

Cross Country:
Cross country practice today and Meet on Thursday. Cross country practice Tuesday and meet on Thursday. All students MUST submit their forms to Mrs. Carter before the end of day in order to be permitted to attend the meet on Thursday.
Boys Soccer
Come cheer on your boys mustang soccer team at their next game today at 3:45 pm at the fields behind MicMac Mall. Your team fee is now due. Payment can be made via School Cash
Volleyball
Sign up sheets and tryout times for the girls and boys volleyball are now posted outside the gym. The sign up for the girls team closes at the end of the day today. Tryouts for Grade 7 girls will take place this Wednesday Sept 24th from 2:30-4. Please listen to the announcements for more tryout times.
Library Club
The Library Club meets today after school. Anyone can join. Can’t make it? Speak with Ms. Demers at lunch time.
Green Team
Members of the green team are asked to meet in Ms. Lannon’s room at lunch.
Best Buddies
Interested in joining best buddies? Please complete the Best Buddies Application survey by Friday, the survey can be found outside the learning center and Mrs. McQuarries room (213). Scan the QR code and answer the questions.
Halifax Public Library
Join us tonight for Teen Night at Cole Harbour Public Library from 6-7:30 to play Caveman Word Smash! It is open to all junior high and high school students, it is totally free, and there are snacks.
