LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
We would like to acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaw people. The Treaties of Peace and Friendship cover this territory .

Hide and Go Seek to support Jessie Tree

Tickets will be on sale today and Wednesday at lunch for Hide & Seek in the gym. The event will take place this Thursday at lunch. Tickets are $1.  The first 40 to purchase tickets are guaranteed a spot. Don't miss out! Get yours today!

Pie a Teacher to support Jessie Tree

Tickets will be available for purchase again today for your chance to pie a teacher.  Tickets are $1 each or 3 for $2.  The event will take place Wednesday at lunch in the gym.  Entry to watch the event is $0.50

Santa is coming back to Astal

Santa will be coming back to Astral on Friday for those who missed out this past Friday.  Get your picture with Santa for $2.  Mr. Lukenda will have your 4x6 picture available for pick up on Wednesday

GSA

GSA meets today, Tuesday, in room 221 at lunch! Bring your food and hang out with the gang. All are welcome.
Leadership
The next leadership meeting will take place this Friday, December 8th, at 11:35 in Mme Chiasson’s room. Please bring your lunch.

Starting tomorrow, December 6th, our school’s next giving campaign will begin. As the weather gets colder, many people in our community are in need of items to keep warm. ‘’DecembRRR’’ encourages students and staff to bring in gently used winter hats, gloves and mittens, as well as new socks to help support those in need in our community. Please bring in these items to your homeroom class between December 6th and December 15th.

Chess club will be on Thursdays at lunch.  Everyone is welcome! Come learn to play or intellectually destroy others :) Chess is every THURSDAY at lunch room 111 Mr. Nagle’s room.
