LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

ADJH GSA
The ADJH GSA - gender & sexuality alliance - begins today at lunch hour in Ms. Campbell’s room: 221. Come hang out with Ms. Campbell, Mx. Morse, and your peers and chat about what this year’s GSA will look like.

Chess Club is starting,
Everyone welcome, learn how to play chess or test your intellectual ability.   Starting this Wednesday at lunch in Mr. Nagle’s room. Hope to see you because Chess is awesome!

Military Family Outreach meeting cancelled! 

Unfortunately, The military family outreach meeting scheduled for today at lunch has been cancelled and rescheduled for the new year. Sorry for any convenience.


December School Dance
Our next school dance will be on December 14th.  The cost is $6.00 and can be paid through School Cash. 

Band
Senior band rehearsals will take place today from 11:55-12:25.

Santa is coming to ADJH!
Staff and students are invited to have your picture taken with Santa on December 1st or 8th.  He will be found between rooms 165-168 during the lunch hour.  The cost will be $2.00 per person with proceeds going towards 803’s ILT holliday project: The Jessie Tree.

Best Buddies Best Buddies will meet Thursday at lunch in the learning centre.

Boys Volleyball
Congratulations to the boys volleyball team for their semi final win against Graham Creighton.  The team plays in the finals Thursday at Bihi.

Cafeteria
Just a reminder to students that there is to be no cutting in line in the cafeteria during lunch.  Again, this includes giving money to other people already in line to purchase your lunch as well as asking people to buy you lunch. Just so we are all clear, students are to line up at the cafeteria and wait their turn. Any student seen cutting in line will be asked to go to the back of the line.  Any students who are not in line for the cafeteria are to remain away from the line up.

Attention Thunderbirds Fans
The season opener for the Halifax Thunderbirds is taking place at the Nest this Friday night. Show your support by wearing your Thunderbirds swag to school on Friday. We’ll get a picture of everyone and send it to the team for some Astral Drive energy!
