Chess Club
Chess Club is starting, Everyone welcome, learn how to play chess or test your intellectual ability.   Starting this wednesday at lunch in Mr. Nagle’s room. Hope to see you because Chess is awesome!

ADJH GSA
The ADJH GSA - gender & sexuality alliance - begins this Wednesday at lunch hour in Ms. Campbell’s room: 221. Come hang out with Ms. Campbell, Mx. Morse, and your peers and chat about what this year’s GSA will look like.

Military Family Outreach
The military family outreach centre will be here this Wednesday, November 29th at lunch. Any students who have a family member in the military are asked to join us in the counselling outer office at lunch.

Cole Harbour Library - Wheel of Fortune Teen Night
This has been a beloved game show for almost 50 years - find out why by playing it with a team of teens!  Snacks and prizes will be provided.  November 28 6-7:30  Grades 7 and up.

December School Dance
Our next school dance will be on December 14th.  The cost is $6.00 and can be paid through School Cash.

Card Games at Lunch - Today at lunch, students are invited to join Ashley in Mr. Nagle’s room (111) to play an assorted collection of card games. Remember to bring your lunch. There will be a max of 15 students

Boys Volleyball
Semi finals game will be played today, after school, in the gym.

Band
Junior band rehearsal will be held today from 11:55-12:25pm

Santa is coming to ADJH!
Staff and students are invited to have your picture taken with Santa on December 1st or 8th  He will be found between rooms 165-168 during the lunch hour.  The cost will be $2.00 per person with proceeds going towards 803’s ILT holliday project: donating to the Jessie Tree.

Best Buddies
Best Buddies will meet Thursday at lunch in the learning centre.

Cheerleading
A reminder to the cheer team that there is no practice today. There is practice this Friday after school! Those that are bringing in gift cards for our fundraiser can drop them off to Ms. Macquarrie in room 213!

Cafeteria
There have been many instances of people cutting in line in the cafeteria during lunch…this includes giving money to other people already in line to purchase your lunch as well as asking people to buy you lunch. Many duty teachers have expressed frustration with the lack of consideration students are showing one another as well as the disrespect to their teachers by repeatedly ignoring the rules. Just so we are all clear, students are to line up at the cafeteria and wait their turn. Any student seen cutting in line will be asked to go to the back of the line.  Any students who are not in line for the cafeteria are to remain away from the line up. Refusal to follow directions will result in an office referral and school consequences.

Girls volleyball

Congrats to the girls volleyball team who defeated Ellenvale in 3 games last night. They play the championship here on Wednesday after school.  We hope to see you there
