Did you know?

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) was established in 2008 to investigate the Indian Residential School (IRS) system and its impact on Indigenous Peoples in Canada. The TRC released its final report in 2015, which included 94 Calls to Action. These calls to action are actionable policy recommendations aimed at acknowledging the full history of the residential schools system and creating systems to prevent such abuses from ever happening again in the future. Rachel has posted a QR code to the 94 calls to action around the school. Stay tuned for a new contest!

Girls Volleyball

The girls volleyball practices will take place today and Wednesday after school at 2:30pm in the gym.
Girls volleyball fee of $10.00 is due by October 21st.  This can be paid through School Cash.

SCHOOL DANCE
School Dance is this Thursday, October 19th.  Tickets can be purchased via School Cash Online up to and including noon – October 17th.  Cost is $6.  Tickets will not be sold at the door.  Dance is from 6:30-8:30pm.

Plump Little Pumpkins Teen Nights: Learn to sew the most preciously plump pumpkins you ever did see. You don’t need any sewing skills, this project is super quick and easy. And cute. So flipping cute! Tuesday, October 17 | 6:00-7:30pm Grades 7 and up.
