CROSS COUNTRY – REGIONALS
Taking place tomorrow - Friday, October 18th (date changed – due to weather - from Thursday, October 17th) at Point Pleasant Park.

BOYS’ SOCCER
The boy's soccer team played a well fought game against Ellenvale yesterday losing 2-0.  They demonstrated good sportsmanship both on and off the field. Congratulations to all members on a fantastic season." Please return your jerseys to Ms. Little as soon as possible.

LOLLIPOPS
Lollipops will be sold tomorrow - Friday at lunch in the front foyer by the office from 11:45-12:05. Cost $1.00 each.

PEER TUTORS

Any grade nine students who would like to volunteer as a peer tutor this year, please see Mrs. Greer to sign up.  This would involve a lunch hour of your time to sit with a student in grade 8 or 7 to help them with either math or a subject that they need help in.  This is a great way to add to your resume as a volunteer or to gain volunteer hours.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
Final try-out will be today - Thursday from 4:30-6:00pm.

GIRLS’ SOCCER
The ADJH girls’ soccer team played an amazing game against Ellenvale yesterday (SCORE 3-1) afternoon to win the Akerley Division!
The girls fought hard and played as a team. Goal scorers included grade 7 Riley Auby, grade 8's Lily Francois and Kenzie Matheson. Shutout by Kenzie Purcell.
Next up is regionals!  We're so proud of you girls :)

LIFETOUCH – STUDENT PHOTOS
Student photos & ID cards have arrived.  Homeroom teachers will distribute them.  If you would like to place an order, please return the order form to Mrs. Eaglestone, OFFICE, by October 24th (deadline).  Thank you!

GSA
GSA weekly meetings are Thursdays at lunch in the Art room.  GSA is a safe environment for 2SLGBTQ+ people and their allies.  Everyone is welcome!!!

LOST & FOUND
Students are asked to please check the Lost & Found containers by the entrance/exit doors across from the office.  Please take any items that belong to you!

GUIDANCE
• Mrs. Greer's Movie Club takes place Tuesday & Wednesday, each week, at lunch in Guidance!
• Girls’ Group to meet this Friday at lunch in Guidance.
20 is the maximum capacity; come on out with your lunch and enjoy!

GARBAGE
Students are reminded to use the garbage cans placed outside the building to put your garbage in!
