Today - Thursday is Anti-bully day/Pink shirt day!  Students are now in their homeroom for 20 minutes to learn and discuss with your homeroom teacher about what you can do to prevent bullying.  At lunch time, our photo booth for students is open to take pics with your friends and post them to spread awareness.   Remember that as ASTRAL students, we are kind and we stand up for those who are hurt.    Here is some information to help you in your understanding:
WHAT IS BULLYING?
Bullying is a form of aggression where there is a power imbalance; the person doing the bullying has power over the person being victimized. In additional to any physical trauma incurred, bullying can result in serious emotional problems, including anxiety, low self-esteem, or depression.
