LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
We would like to acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaw people. The Treaties of Peace and Friendship cover this territory .

We recognize that African Nova Scotians are a distinct people whose histories, legacies and contributions have enriched Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Dance
Our next school dance will be this Thursday, April 18 from 6:30 - 8:30pm.  Tickets are $6 and can be purchased via School Cash.  Ticket sales are low, if ticket sales do not increase, we will have to cancel the dance. 

Month of the Military Child
Teal Up for Month of the Military Child in April! This year, we continue to spread awareness of Month of the Military Child and Teal Up across Canada. At our MFRC sites in HRM we will be celebrating Teal Up Tuesdays and we encourage your school or community organization to join us in wearing Teal on Tuesdays throughout the month of April!

Flag Football Practice
Practice will take place today, inside our gym, after school. Please bring proper footwear!

HRM Citizenship Award
We are thrilled to announce that Liam Le Grange has been selected as this year's HRM Citizenship Award winner! We extend our sincere gratitude to all applicants for their outstanding contributions and commitment to our school community.

Talent Show
Get ready to be dazzled and amazed as our school talent show is just around the corner! Whether you’re a singer, dancer, magician, comedian or have a unique talent to showcase, this is your chance to shine! If you are interested, there will be a brief information meeting this Wednesday, April 17th, in Mme Chiasson’s room (137).

Cole Harbour Library - Paint Night
Come and get creative!  Paint along with an instructional video for your very own paint night.  All skills levels welcome.  Snack and drinks provided.
Tuesday, April 16 6:00-7:30pm  Grades 7 and up.

Drama Club
The drama club will meet today in the library for rehearsals from 2:30 to 3:30.
