LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

Parent-Teacher
Parent teacher meetings are schedule for April 3rd from 6-8pm and April 4th from 1-3pm. Meetings will be in person.  All meetings will be scheduled through the School Interview booking system.  https://schoolinterviews.ca/code/df9zu
The platform will open on Friday, March 22nd at 9am and will close on Wednesday, April 3rd at noon.

Yearbook
Attention grade 9 students: It is that time of year again where we need a baby/toddler photo for the yearbook, 1-3 years of age preferably. Size of the picture must be 800 Kilobytes or bigger. Email to littlej@gnspes.ca, as an attachment. Please put your full name and class in the subject. Thank you. Deadline: Mar 25, 2024.

Community Members
We have received some calls from community members regarding trash that is being thrown on the ground by their houses and, sometimes, on their property.  If you are getting lunch outside of the school (Needs, Tim’s, El Centro, etc…) please put your trash in the trash cans along the way or bring it back to the school and put it in the trash cans here.  Thank you.

Lost and Found
Please check the lost and found table across from the office for any lost items.  Water bottles will remain there until end of day today.

Spirit Week
Next week will be Spring Spirit Week at ADJH. Students and staff are encouraged to participate in the following theme days:
Monday will be Hoodie Day. Come to school in your favorite and comfiest hoodie!
Tuesday is Tropical/Hawaiian Day.
Wednesday is Spring Colors, Patterns & Accessories Day.
To finish off the week, we will turn back time for Throwback Thursday! Rock your favorite style from any decade!

Makers Gonna Make: Pop-Up Cards & Colours for Holi.
Are you ready for Holi, the Hindu Festival of Colours, Love and Spring?  Celebrate with us by making bright pop-up cards for your loved ones and trying some water-based experiments!
