GRADE 9 HARBOUR BOAT CRUISE - UPDATE
Information was sent home via School Messenger to parents/guardians about the change re departure time. Staff and students will be leaving the school one hour later – leaving at 7:00pm. Students can arrive at the school starting at 6:30pm to register.
PEER TUTORING
Tomorrow - Tuesday, June 20th, will be the last peer tutoring session for the school year. All students are welcome to attend to get caught up on missing assignments or to study for their upcoming exams.
BOYS’ SOFTBALL
We would like to send huge congratulations to the boys’ softball team on their successful tournament on Friday. The Mustangs beat OPA, Bicentennial, and Graham Creighton to advance to the finals against Gaetz Brook. It was a nail bitter of a championship game but Astral came out on top with a final score of 10-9! Special shoutout to Brady Bush and Owen O'Donnell who pitched all four games and Carson Canning for narrowly missing Ms. Lannon's car with his homerun. Mr. Babin and Ms. Banfield are so proud of all the players for their effort, commitment, and sportsmanship. The banner will be available to sign in Ms. Banfield's room, room 206, today at lunch or after school.

Since June is often a very stressful time for Teens, the theme of this month is Regress and DeStress. Teen Night is always on Tuesdays from 6-7:30pm at Cole Harbour Public Library and we'll have snacks every week.

Sundays, at the Cole Harbour Library, from 2:00-4:30pm - TABLETOP TEEN DROP-IN: On Sunday afternoons, the Program Room becomes a teen gaming hub where you can meet other players and start new games. Join a Dungeons & Dragons campaign, test your best Magic: The Gathering deck, or play any board game from their huge collection. Please bring your own decks, dice, rule books, etc. Curious about these games, but don’t know where to start? It’s perfect for you too! Just drop in and try it out. GUIDANCE NEWS
Every Thursday at lunch come over to the guidance room to relax at the Don’t You Worry Club! All students are welcome! This club is for students with a lot of stress and anxiety and/or students who would like to learn more about such things. Come and share strategies with others, so that everyone can benefit! It is a worry-free place to be!
