GIRLS’ SOFTBALL TEAM

In Jr. High softball action, the Mustangs took home the banner for the second year in a row!  Our returning players and captains Lola Welcher, Sophie Cormier and Makayla Fraser led the team to four straight wins.  Lola had 12 strikeouts and no walked batters; Sophie had 4 strikeouts with only one walk.  Makayla played flawless defence and all three had multiple hits and RBIs. Charlotte Banfield hit a home run in the final game.  Score 19-4!  Our super 7s Haylee McClennan and Lexi McCutcheon both had big defensive plays and multiple hits.  All 13 players contributed to every win beating each opposing team by the mercy rule to capture the banner.  Thanks!
