FREE THE CHILDREN

Your next meeting will be Thursday, November 22nd.

TODAY, November 13th - 14 of our grade 9 students have been selected to travel to Ottawa to represent our Free The Children Group! Tomorrow -Wednesday, they will partake in WE Day Ottawa, where our very own CJ Rollin will speak in front of the 16 000 other people attending the event. We would like to thank all of our Free The Children members for all of their hard work, and wish these 14 grade 9's a wonderful trip!

COLDER WEATHER
The weather this time of year is unpredictable.  We have days that look like they are going to be warm, but turn out to be cool or damp.  We encourage students to be prepared for the colder weather because they will be outside unless the temperature drops well below freezing!  When you take your lunch out of your locker, please take your jacket at that time as well! 

GUIDANCE NEWS

The Guidance outer-office is open from Tuesdays to Thursdays at lunch.  20 people maximum.  Please bring your lunch as it is first come, first serve!
• Tuesdays - Wii day where we will play games on the Wii.
• Wednesdays - Board Game day
• Thursdays are Movie day

GARBAGE
Students are reminded to put their garbage in the garbage containers out and around the school grounds!  Please do not drop it on the ground!  Thank you!

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
Tuesday November 13 - No practice; game at Astral at 3:30pm
Thursday November 15 - 7:00am practice (please come to gym doors for entry) and game at Astral at 3:30pm

WRESTLING
The first tryout for the wrestling team will be on Wednesday (tomorrow). Starting right after school. All students are welcome to come.

CELL PHONES/HEADPHONES/EARBUDS
Reminder to students that cellphones/headphones and/or earbuds are not to be used during the school day except at break and lunch times.  If a staff member sees these items being used at inappropriate times, they will be taken and sent to the office.

LOST & FOUND
Students are asked to please check the Lost & Found (items in two containers by the main doors on the Astral side of the building).  Please take any items that belong to you!  Any items not taken will be donated at the end of the month.

LOLLIPOPS
Lollipops will be for sale this Friday at lunch. Cost $1 each!

COMMUNITY OUTREACH GROUP
Your next meeting again this Friday!

GREEN TEAM
Green team B will be meeting in Mme Arseneau’s room (204) tomorrow at 9:35am to do recycling. Members are asked to see Mme Arseneau today if they cannot attend during that time.

AFTER SCHOOL BUS DUTY

Reminder – Courtesy Bus is only available to those students whose parents registered with Stock Transportation over the summer.  The bus driver will have a list of students who are permitted to take the bus (if registered).
