COMMUNITY NEWS

The IWK Health Centre will be hosting its tenth annual Health Care Career Day on Wednesday November 14, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Gallery of the Dr. Richard B. Goldbloom Research and Clinical Care Pavilion at the IWK Health Centre.

Health Care Career Day will provide students with information about careers in the health care sector. As a part of Career Day, there will be displays and demonstrations featuring various IWK departments and services, as well as refreshments and prizes. IWK staff will be on hand to provide students with information about their jobs and what types of educational programs are required to pursue a career in health care.

We believe this is an excellent opportunity to help students learn more about possible careers in the health care sector and make informed educational choices. For students in Grade 9, this may be helpful in choosing high school courses.

If you require additional information, please contact IWK Volunteer Resources at (902) 470-6692.

Students who wish to attend are asked to see Mrs. Greer, Guidance!
