BAND

The first rehearsal of the SELECT BAND will take place tomorrow morning (Tuesday) at 7:30am!  This rehearsal is only for those students in SELECT BAND LAST YEAR!

GUIDANCE NEWS
The Guidance outer-office is open from Tuesdays to Thursdays at lunch.  20 people maximum.  Please bring your lunch as it is first come, first serve!
• Tuesdays - Wii day where we will play games on the Wii.
• Wednesdays - Board Game day
• Thursdays are Movie day

FORMS
Students who have forms for Mr. Tetford or Ms. Fortune are reminded to please return the signed portion of these forms as soon as possible to room 103 or 104.

GRADE 7 ICEBREAKERS
This is a message for grade 7 teachers and students.  Icebreakers will be taking place on the soccer field this afternoon.  Teachers are asked to bring the class that they teach after lunch to the field immediately after they take attendance.  Classes will be directed to their station upon arrival. Don't forget: A Class Cheer Contest will wrap up the afternoon. Go Grade 7s!!

DUKE OF EDINBURGH
Attention students interested in the Duke of Edinburgh program: The 1st meeting for students interested in the Duke of Edinburgh will take place tomorrow - Tuesday, September 18th at lunch in Mr. McKergow's room #113.

LIBRARY NEWS

The Library Club will be meeting this Wednesday after school.

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL
The boys’ volleyball sign-up sheet is posted on the gym bulletin board.  Tryouts will take place today-Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 2:30pm.

DRAMA CLUB
Hey Astral!  Are you interested in drama, like to act or do improve; then, TODAY Monday, September 17th in room 109 – Ms. Neaves’ room at lunch time, there will be a meeting for Drama Club!  Please come and find out what it is all about!

There will be a BBQ this Friday in the gym!  Selling:  hotdogs, sausages, PowerAde and bottled water.
