GUIDANCE NEWS
The Guidance outer-office is open from Tuesdays to Thursdays at lunch.  20 people maximum.  Please bring your lunch as it is first come, first serve!
• Tuesdays - Wii day where we will play games on the Wii.
• Wednesdays - Board Game day
• Thursdays are Movie day

SPRING FLING

Today is Wacky Wednesday.  At lunch, today, we will have a limbo contest!  Tropical Thursday means you can wear your floral gear or dress up like a tacky tourist.   The selfie booth will be set up at lunch and our dance is that night!   Finally on Friday it is Flannel Friday!  Wear your flannel or your pajamas.   Freezies and lemonade will be for sale at lunch in the main foyer.    Let's fling into Spring Astral!

SCHOOL DANCE
The next school dance is tomorrow - Thursday - May 24th from 6:30-8:30pm.  The cost of the dance is $6 or $5 with a food bank donation.  Please bring your Dance Guest Permission Form to the office and return it to Mrs. Eaglestone after the morning announcements – May 23rd!  Your guest must be a student in grades 7-9 and in good standing at his-her school.

GAUSS MATH COMPEITITON
Students in grade 7 & 8 recently competed in the Gauss Math Competition from University of Waterloo.  Congratulations to the following students who did exceptionally well, receiving certificates of Outstanding Achievement.

Duke students are reminded to please bring in their fees for the Duke expedition to Madame Aucoin ASAP!

LIBRARY NEWS
Today is the day to bring you change to the Library at lunch and rip up some books!  For only $1, you can take apart 4 old books!  Recycling can be fun!

GIRLS’ SOFTBALL
There will be a very important girls’ softball meeting today, Wednesday, at lunch in Mrs. Banfield’s room.  There is also a practice this Thursday after school at 3:30pm.
