LIBRARY NEWS

Starting next week, the Library Club will be holding a fundraiser.  Bring your change to try and win some prizes!  See Ms. Demers or the hallway posters for more details.

GREEN TEAM

Attention all grade 7 students!  We are looking for a few committed and responsible students to help with our recyclables and Green team.  Please see Mrs. Greer, Guidance Department, to sign up by this Friday!

Teachers, please encourage students to put their recyclables in the bins either in the main hallways or the small bins in your classroom.  If you would like one for your classroom Mrs. Greer has a few extra.

We will be coming around on Fridays Week 1 - last period and Fridays Week 2 - 4th period.

LIFETOUCH

Student ID cards will arrive within the next couple of weeks to be given to students.

LOST & FOUND

Students are asked to check the Lost & Found and take any items that belong to you (clothing, water bottles, books, etc).

Asking all students – if you have cardboard boxes at home (mid size or bigger) please bring them to school and drop them off at Ms. Little’s or Mr. Lukenda’s room – Tech Ed (she needs them for a school-wide project)

WEATHER
Reminder to students, it is that time of year!  Cold in the morning, warmer in the afternoon.  So please, dress in for the conditions (in layers – mittens/gloves/hat in your bookbag).

EXTRA CURRICULAR
Intramural volleyball tournaments taking place during the lunch hour - schedule on bulletin board – gym.
This is an important announcement regarding some changes to the volleyball tournament that will affect all teams:

Teams will not be permitted to enter the gym until 11:55am.

There is to be NO FOOD brought into the gym.

There are NO SPECTATORS. If you are not playing on a team that is involved in a game, you will not be permitted to enter the gym on that day.

No one will be permitted on stage at any point unless they have been told to be there by either Mr. Carew or Mr. Elliott.
