The gym is closed today at lunch. There will be no intramurals.
CROSS COUNTRY
Congratulations to members of our Cross-Country team for a great showing at the Provincial Meet in Trenton yesterday. Junior runners Lia Wierstra and Abby White ran excellent races, and our Intermediate team, led by Olivia Turner who came in 13th overall, were the top placing Junior High Team in the province in their division. All athletes did and awesome job representing Astral Drive!
LEADERSHIP
• It is officially SOCKTOBER and we are collecting new socks to donate to local shelters. As the weather is starting to turn cooler, the need for socks at shelters rise. Please drop off new socks to your homeroom teacher.
• Tomorrow is breast cancer awareness day, students are asked to wear pink and/or funky socks.
• Mystery bags will be on sale today outside the office for $2, there are only 100 bags to purchase, so make sure you don't wait too long!
LOLLIPOPS
Lollipops will be sold this Friday at lunch in the front foyer by the office from 11:45-12:05. Cost $1.00 each.
GSA
GSA weekly meetings are every Thursday, at lunch, in the Art room. GSA is a safe environment for 2SLGBTQ+ people and their allies. Everyone is welcome!!!
GIRLS’ SOCCER
A reminder to the girls’ soccer team. You play in the championship game on Wednesday, Oct. 30th, at Mainland commons at 4:45pm!

Students are asked to please check the Lost & Found containers by the entrance/exit doors across from the office. Please take any items that belong to you!
GUIDANCE
• Mrs. Greer's Movie Club takes place Tuesday & Wednesday, each week, at lunch in Guidance! 20 is the maximum capacity; come on out with your lunch and enjoy!

Students are reminded to use the garbage cans placed outside the building to put your garbage in!
