WINTER CARNIVAL
Next week we’re having our winter carnival from March 11th to March 15th.

Monday March 11th is Meme Monday, so come dressed as your favourite meme. Leadership students will be visiting each class after announcements. Homerooms are asked to nominate their best meme costume and there will be a vote at lunch for the winner! The best meme of the school will get a prize!

Tuesday March 12th is Tropical Tuesday so wear your tropical gear. At lunch on Tuesday there's a limbo contest in the gym so there will be no intramurals. It will be 25 cents to get in the gym for the contest, and no non-participating spectators will be permitted.

Wednesday March 13th is Wacky Wednesday so everyone wear their mismatched clothes and crazy hair.

Thursday March 14th is Throwback Thursday so dress up in clothing from a past decade, such as the 80s. The class with the most students dressed up will win a prize!

Finally, Friday is Shamrockin’ Friday so everyone wear green! At lunch on Friday there will be a shamrock search. For every 3 shamrocks you trade in, you get a treat! There will also be one main "pot of gold" prize. Good luck!

PHYS ED NEWS
1. All members of the boys and girls basketball teams are asked to return their uniforms to Mr. Carew as soon as possible.

2. Freezies will no longer be permitted in the gym at lunchtime. If you purchase one, please finish it before entering the gym.

FREE THE CHILDREN
Free the Children will meet tomorrow - Thursday to discuss our Spring campaign.

BEST BUDDIES
There is no Best Buddies today; it is rescheduled for next week. Also, just a reminder to Best Buddies to bring in $5.00 for t-shirts.

LOLLIPOPS
Lollipops for sale, at lunch, NEXT Friday.  Cost $1 each!  Lots of flavors available!

YEARBOOK
If you did not pay for a yearbook when you paid your student fees in September, you can still order a yearbook.  Order forms are in the office.  The cost is $35.  The deadline to order is May 6, 2019.  Please return your order form to Mrs. Eaglestone, office.  You can also order online at:  ybpay.lifetouch.ca  (the code to order online can be found on the form)

GUIDANCE NEWS
The Guidance outer-office is open from Tuesdays to Thursdays at lunch.  20 people maximum.  Please bring your lunch as it is first come, first serve!
• Tuesdays - Wii day where we will play games on the Wii.
• Wednesdays - Board Game day
• Thursdays are Movie day

1)  All 02 students are reminded of the deadline of tomorrow - March 7th for applications.  Please give these to Mrs. Greer by the 7th.

2) All grade nine students are asked to return the course confirmation forms by Wednesday, the 13th of March.  Please return these to your homeroom teacher.

3)  Girl's group cake decorating for Thursday March 7th is rescheduled to April 15th.

4)  All IB students are asked to come to the guidance office on tomorrow – Thursday at break.
