COLDER WEATHER

Best Buddies will meet today, at lunch, in the Learning centre.

FALL FEST

Leadership (Fall Spirit Week)   October 22nd-25th

Today - Wednesday is Plaid/Flannel day. Today, at lunch, we will be playing Smash the Mash again this year! That means The Monster Mash will play, on repeat, until we reach our fundraising goal of $75 to be donated to the same shelter as our Socktober drive. If you can remember how annoying this was last year, bring in some money to make it stop faster!

Last but not least, Thursday will be PJ day and there will be a special Halloween edition of Just Dance going on in the gym at lunch. Again it's 25cents to enter the gym and there will be no non-participating spectators.

Check the bulletin board in the front lobby for all of the spirit days and activities!

GIRLS’ SOCCER
A huge congratulations to the girls soccer team, this year’s Regional Champions! In the semi-final game against Fairview the girls were trailing at half-time but thanks to a strong and hard fought second half they came back to win with a score of 3-2. Goals were scored by Ciera Oliver-Dares, Lily Langille, and Grace Pece. In the gold medal game against Madeline Symonds, the girls laid it all on the line and played their best game yet. Lynn Sheppard kicked off the scoring, and 2 more goals were scored by Ariana Myatt and Sarah Miller. Kenzie Purcell and Aleyna Cormier shared the shutout to win with a 3-0 final score. The coaches would like to thank the girls and congratulate them on another exceptional season. Please drop jerseys off to Ms. Fortune before the end of the week.
