LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:

Colby Village Elementary School
The Colby Village Elementary School Spring Fair is taking place on Saturday, May 25th from 11 am - 2 pm. Their gymnasium will be full of games and they’d love your help to run them!

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls Awareness Day
Yesterday was National MMIWG Awareness Day. There is a bulletin board display dedicated to this crisis upstairs by Ms. Campbell’s room. Please take a moment to read some of the information when you have a chance. Today (Period 4), if the rain stops, we will be going on a MMIWG march to raise awareness within our community. We will let you know by the end of the morning if it needs to be rescheduled.

Boys Softball
Tryouts will be held on May 7th 4:15-5:30pm at the Paul Mason Ballfield(Astral Drive Field).

Track and Field Tryouts
The next track running tryout will be Tuesday May 7th from 3-5pm at Beazley Field. Tryouts will be for all 100m, 200m and Hurdles, as well as Junior Boys 3000m, Junior Triple Jump and Intermediate Long Jump. If you have any questions regarding tryouts please see Mrs. Carter, Mr. Carew or Mr. Elliott.

Battle of the Teams!
Every Monday beginning May 13th, until June 10th come take part in the Battle of the Teams at lunchtime in the gym.  You will find more information and the sign-up sheet by the gym.

Library Club
The Library Club will be holding another fundraising event at the end of the week.  Check out the posters around the school for more information.

Library
Ms. Demers is out today so the Library will be closed at lunch. However, if it is an indoor lunch due to rain, I will keep it open and be in there with students myself.

Drama Club
The drama club will meet for rehearsals in the library today from 2:30 to 3:30.
